City Social Dept to Launch E-Natura Soon

Jakarta So cial Department is about to launch E-Natura card or post-calamity. The card will be given for calamity victim in order to ease getting staples.

So far, the aid distribution was not effective

This aid cannot be transformed into cash/money since the card uses non cash card system.

Djafar Muchlisin, Jakarta Head Social Protection Board for Social Department, said the card launching is a cooperation with retail and banking company.

One month, 149 PMKSs Netted in Central Jakarta

It is hoped the card launching will accelerate the aid distribution for calamity victim.

"So far, the aid distribution was not effective. The victim must wait for long time before getting the aid. We had auction process, warehouse, up to transportation. But those were ineffective," said Djafar, Thursday (8/20).

The card distribution will involve urban village head to avoid miss distribution.
